The CEELI Institute and Burma Center Prague team conducted its second round of trainings for the Myanmar Lawyers’ Network in Yangon and Mandalay in late August. This training focused on building the legal advocacy and presentation skills of lawyers who, in addition to handling their regular cases, often work on pro bono cases, including some related to the most pressing issues in Burma today such as land confiscations in regions and villages.
The Institute and Burma Center Prague team will return to Burma for another round of trainings in October 2014.
